Estate planning makes more sense when you understand the system before you start making decisions. That is the philosophy behind everything Heircraft Planning does — and it is why we offer several free resources for Alabama and Florida families who want to learn first, without any pressure to take the next step before they are ready.
Who Is Behind Heircraft Planning
Heircraft Planning was founded by Mark Eiland, an estate planning attorney admitted in both Alabama and Florida. Mark holds a finance degree from the University of Montevallo and a J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law. Before founding Heircraft Planning, he managed a regional bank trust department — an experience that shaped how he thinks about estate planning. He has seen firsthand how plans hold up, or do not, when they are actually put into use.
That perspective is what drives the educational approach at Heircraft Planning. Understanding how a plan functions in real life is different from understanding what a document says on paper. Both matter.
What Makes Heircraft Planning Different
Every plan at Heircraft Planning is built around the specific people, relationships, and goals involved. Fees are flat and agreed upon up front. And because life changes, Heircraft offers systems for regular plan reviews so your estate plan stays aligned with your circumstances over time.
Free In-Person Seminars
Heircraft Planning holds free educational seminars throughout the year in Mobile, Alabama. These are honest, practical sessions covering how estate planning works, what decisions are involved, and what questions are worth asking before you put a plan together. Refreshments are provided.
These seminars are free to attend. Registration is required.
