Mark P. Eiland, J.D., LL.M. (Taxation)
Mark Eiland headshot
Mark is passionate about helping families plan to pass along their wealth, wisdom and values.  He spends his time counseling individuals and families as they go through the inevitable transitions of life. His expertise on the topic is sought by attorneys, insurance agents, and financial professionals.

After graduating from the University of Montevallo in 1990 with a degree in Finance, Mark earned both his law degree and graduate degree in tax law from the University of Alabama and worked for a short time as a litigator before transitioning to estate planning and trust administration in 2000. Mark worked as a trust officer and became a manager of a regional bank's Trust Department. This gives him unique insight into both the drafting of plans and how those plans work in the real world.

Mark is a member of the Alabama State Bar and Florida State Bar in addition to being admitted to The United States Tax Court. He is former President of The Trust Section of the Alabama Bankers Association, and a member of the Mobile Estate Planning Council, Northwest Florida Estate Planning Council (Pensacola), and The Emerald Coast Estate Planning Council (Destin & Panama City).
Mark especially enjoys working with business owners and entrepreneurs because of his many years of volunteering with Junior Achievement of Mobile. He serves on the board of the Alabama Coastal Foundation and has been active with the Boys Scouts of America.
